Allied Trade Launched

New Cairns family business partnership Allied Trade is set to become a major player in Papua New Guinea (PNG) mining, education and business training and development.

Allied Trade was launched at the 26th Annual Papua New Guinea Business Trade Expo at Jupiter’s Casino in Townsville this week.

A coalition of three Cairns based businesses specialising in multimedia and web technology, educational resources, vehicle storage and freight forwarding, Allied Trade was developed in response to the current major economic development and business growth taking place in PNG.

Training Videos

Workplace induction and training programs in Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG) are set to become more streamlined and safe thanks to custom developed solutions from Allied Trade.

Employee induction and safety training programs are serious business. When we are busy or delivering the same program over and over it is easy to rush things through, get sidetracked by discussion or accidentally forget to mention something.

Getting it wrong could cost you or one of your employees their life.

Interactive Software for Training & Health

Health Promotion and safety training messages are taking a new interesting shape thanks to Cairns based leaders in multimedia, Visual Obsession.

After successfully developing Interactive, multimedia software for Queensland Health, the Australian Commonwealth Government and local businesses for more than three years, Visual Obsession is excited to develop solutions to help businesses, training providers, RTO’s and other public and private health services take advantage of this powerful, effective technology.

Trade Mission to PNG

A short trip offshore has brought local Cairns family businesses closer to realising lucrative new business opportunities in Papua New Guinea.

Cairns based Visual Obsession executive Chris Gillis joined Queensland Government Treasurer Andrew Fraser the Cairns Regional Council and influential Cairns colleagues including Cairns Chamber’s Jeremy Blockey and Ross Contarino from Advance Cairns on a three day trade mission to PNG in March.
